Mission & Faith

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mathew 28:19-20

Our Mission

Our mission is to gather as one body in Christ, disciple people in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, follow Jesus in obedience to the Great Commission by sharing Jesus with a lost and dying world. This fulfills Matthew 28:19-20 as Jesus commanded.

Our primary focus is meeting the needs of the biker and veteran community in and around the Raleigh, NC area. We will actively participate in local biker and veteran events supporting various clubs and charities throughout the year. We will work to develop and grow real relationships with bikers and veterans which supports effective ministry to meet their needs. (Luke 14:23)

Statement of Faith

We believe there is one living and true God who exists in three persons; The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  God is the creator and ruler of the universe. Jesus is the son of God and after having lived a sinless life he offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. As stated in Old Testament prophecy, he arose from the dead on the third day to show his power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will again return to the earth to collect the saints. The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make us aware of our need for Christ. He resides in every Christian from the moment of Salvation. He provides the power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians we seek to live under his control daily. (1 John 5:7, John 10:30 & Matthew 3:16.)

Our Beliefs

THE BIBLE

We believe the bible is authored by God and written by human writers under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the complete truth and guidance for Christian beliefs and living. As the inspired word of God, it is the total truth without any error or conflict. (2 Tim 3:16-17, 1 Peter 1:23-25 & 2 Peter 1:19-21)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for our sins, and arose again for our justification. (Gen 3:15, Luke 1:35, Matt 1:18-25 & Isaiah 7:14)

SALVATION

We believe through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary, salvation is available to all people. When we repent of our sins and truly ask by faith for God to save us through our belief and relationship with his son Jesus …. Salvation can be ours. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 10:13, 1 John 5:13)

SALVATION LOST

We believe that anyone who has truly accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior can not lose their Salvation. (John 10:28, John 6:39, 2 Tim 4:18, John 5:24, Psalms 103:12, 1 John 5:13 & Hebrews 9:12)

CHURCH

We believe the church is a called-out group of born again baptized believers that desire to draw near to the Lord and know him in a very personal way and adhere to his teaching and be obedient to his commands. (Acts 2:41, Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Cor 11:2 & Acts 2:47)

CHURCH ORDINANCES

We believe that the Lord’s Supper and Baptism are the only two ordinances of the church. (Matt 3:16, Acts 8:36-36, 1 Cor 11:23-28, Colossians 2:13 & Romans 6:3-5)

THE LORD’S SUPPER

Jesus never asked his disciples to remember his birth. He did instruct them to remember His death & resurrection. The Lord’s Supper represents a great spiritual truth for believers. (1 Cor 11:23-29 & Mark 14:22-26)

BAPTISM

Baptism should happen as soon as possible after accepting Christ. It is one of only two required church ordinances. It is to follow the example set by Christ. It demonstrates to the world our being buried in our sin and born again as a new creature in Jesus. Baptism is a personal statement of faith and not a family tradition or something to be checked off a list of any sort. (Matt 28:19-20, 1 John 2:3, Colossians 2:12 & Romans 6:4)

ETERNITY

We believe in a real Heaven prepared for those who have trusted in Jesus Christ and a real Hell prepared for those who make the choice to reject him. (John 14:1-6, John 3:18 & Revelation 20:10-15)

SATAN

We believe that Satan was created with heavenly honors but fell because of pride and his own ambition and is now god of this world, seeking to steal, kill and destroy as much as possible in the time he has remaining. (Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:14-17, John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:8, Revelation 20:1-3 & Revelation 20:9-10)

LOVE

We believe that as Christians we are called to LOVE the Lord our God with all our hearts and to love our fellow man as we love ourselves. This is the greatest of his commandments for us to embrace and obey. It is easy to love those we like but we are to love everyone no matter their beliefs, lifestyle, race or any other characteristic different from us. (Matt 22:37-40, Luke 10:27 & Jude 1:21)

GRACE OF GIVING

We believe that spiritual giving of our time, talents and treasures is one of the basic fundamentals of our faith from both the Old and New Testament. (2 Cor 8:7, 1 Cor 16:2, Hebrews 7:2-4, Matt 23:23, Lev 27:30, Acts 4:34-37)

MISSIONS

We believe in the Great Commission and are committed to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and desire to see lost souls saved here and around the world. (Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15 & Romans 10:13-15)

MARRIAGE

We believe marriage is the uniting of one Man and one Woman in a lifetime covenant. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church. To provide for the man and woman in marriage the biblical framework for intimate companionship, the biblical channel for sexual expression and the means for procreation. (Gen 1:26-28, 2:15-25, 3:1-20, Deuteronomy 6:4-8, Matt 5:31-32, 18:2-5, Ephesians 5:21-33, 2 Tim 5:8-14 & Titus 2:3-5)
